Team USA placed 2nd behind
Germany at the 2008 WUSV World Championship. Karoly
“Charlie” Meszaros and Aceofnike van het Bleekhof
place 2nd overall with a total score of 287
(99-95-93). T. Floyd and Karlo vom Floyd Haus place
6th overall with a total score of 282 (96-94-92).
James Honda and Bordermere Aran place 31st with 268
(95-89-84). Eric Eisenberg and Buddy von Burg
Kurzwallen place 43rd with 263 (97-80-86).

Important GSDCA-WDA Announcement
On behalf of the Board of Directors of
the GSDCA-WDA I am privileged to announce that as of
this morning the GSDCA-WDA will process all SV related
documents in the GSDCA-WDA Office and all documents
will be directly submitted to the SV.
For many years all SV related documents (Judges
Releases, Hip and Elbow Certifications and Breed
Surveys) were sent to a member of the GSDCA WUSV
Liaison Committee for processing by the SV. Today we
have the ability and the relationship to send all
materials directly to the SV. I realize much confusion
has occurred as many changes have been made to this
program. It is our hope and desire that this be the
final change. This change in no way is meant to harm
our relationship with the GSDCA. We continue our
support of the GSDCA and trust they will continue to
support the GSDCA-WDA. This change is another great
stride forward in providing the highest quality
service to you, our membership.
All hip and elbow x-rays, breed
surveys and judges releases are to be sent to the GSDCA-WDA Office for processing. We are updating our
website and program documents to reflect this change.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
AKC WDS scores do not qualify for
GSDCA-WDA National SchH3 Championship entry.
Effective September 1, 2008, in order
to be eligible for a V rating at GSDCA-WDA sanctioned
shows, dogs born after January 1, 2004 must have an “ED” stamp with the result
“normal”, “fast normal”, or “noch zugelassen” in the
pedigree.
